eLyU, what’s the hype??

Surf time! Not the internet kind of surfing but with the waves and sunset! Yes! Me and my friends went to La Union for a quick weekend escape. Too bad the weather was really bad, (hello monsoon rains, hello September!!) Oh and yea if you’ve been reading my blogs, you can guess that I did multiple travels from June to September real quick! like I am really rushing before going to Eu 😂

Well, I already left Singapore at this time (that’s for another write up) and I was back in the Philippines for less than three weeks! My college roomies decided to visit the northern part of Ph as we want to try to surf, have some good (albeit expensive🙁😂) food to eat and just chill at the beach. Tita/aunt/tia mode ON!

We booked at flotsam jetsam a four-bed dorm type room (P1080/bed) with free breakfast! flotsam jetsam is a very famous hostel due to the movie feature as well as for their chill parties and a really good place to be when you’re in LU. We arrived Saturday morning via Partas Bus from Cubao (around 8hours for ~1000php two way). Had our breakfast at LUnion coffee, lunch at Surfshack and dinner at Flotsam 🙂

For the Sunday itinerary, we hiked up to see the Tangadan falls in the morning, then we did some surfing in the afternoon for one hour (that became 2hours!!) with Ryan Surf Shapers Surf School
